 What to carry when evacuating

Each person should prepare one week’s worth of daily necessities for life as an evacuee such as foodstuffs and water (including 3 days worth of emergency food). Do not make the pack too heavy. Also, when evacuating make sure you switch off the electrical breaker and main gas valve, as leaving these on can lead to fires. Evacuate by foot, not by car.
