 Taxis

1. Call a taxi by phone.

They are available 24 hours a day.
There will be callout charge.

Wait for a taxi at a taxi rank.

These can be found outside places such as the station, hotels and major hospitals.
Enter and exit the taxi through the automatic door on the left-rear side. The driver will open and close the door.

Taxi Fares

• Fares depend on the type of car and the distance traveled. A 20% extra late night/early morning charge will be added between the hours of 10:00pm and 5:00am.
• The fare is displayed on the meter to the left of the driver.
  In Japan, there is no custom of tipping the driver.
• When you leave something behind in a taxi contact the taxi company.
