After-school Children’s Council
This benefit is provided to households with children.
Persons raising a child that is in junior high school aged or younger
The allowance is available until the first March after the child turns 15 years old.

Monthly allowance amount is based on the allowance recipient’s income in the previous year.

Payments are scheduled to be deposited on the following dates once the allowance recipient has been approved.
October 14th (payment for the June–September period)
February 14th (payment for the October–January period)
June 14th (payment for the February–May period)
* If the 14th is on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the payment will be deposited on a preceding business day.
Subsidy for hospital expenses of babies and young children.
Children enrolled in health insurance who are not yet of elementary school age
If you submit the "Infant Medical Expense Aid Certificate" and the infant’s health insurance card to the reception desk at a medical care facility, hospital stays are 500 yen per day, while outpatient visits are 500 yen each (additional fees may apply).

Children enrolled in health insurance between their first year of elementary students and the first March 31st after they turn 18 years old.
If you submit the "Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High School Student Medical Expense Aid Certificate" (Shochugakusei Kokosei Sedai Iryohi Jukyuushasho ) and the student's health insurance card to the reception desk at a medical care facility, hospital stays are 500 yen per day, while outpatient visits are 500 yen each (additional fees may apply). It cannot be used (will provide no subsidy) at night (outside of business hours).
This service provides financial support to help children in families where one of the parents does not live with the family for various reasons.
Single-parent families and other persons raising a child who is under 18 years of age (they will be considered under 18 years of age until the first March 31 after their 18th birthday) and cannot live with one of his/her parents. This is a means-tested service.
For one child, a maximum of 43,160 yen per month will be paid depending on your income. For two children, an additional amount of up to 10,190 yen is given. For three children or more, an additional amount of up to 6,110 yen is given per child.
This service provides financial support to help children in families where one of the parents has died or become disabled due to illness, disaster, a traffic accident or other cause.
Persons raising a child who is under 18 years of age (considered under 18 years of age until the first March 31 after their 18th birthday) and for whom one of his/her parents has died or become disabled. This is a means-tested service.
10,000 yen per month will be given per child.
Allowances, etc., will also be provided to people with children in the first year of elementary up to the third year of junior high school for events such as school entrance, moving up a grade, and graduation, as well as for school field trips.
Helps single parent families become financially independent by loaning money for children's school fees, etc.

・Women who raised a child by themselves and are currently unmarried.
An institution that raises infants who lack a parent, etc., or that require special protection.
