This certificate certifies whether a neighborhood in Hamamatsu City belongs to Chuo Ward, Hamana Ward, or Tenryu Ward following the administrative district reorganization on January 1, 2024. When changing address, you may be required to submit an Administrative Ward Establishment Certificate in situations other than those listed in (Note 3) on Address change procedures so please check with each counter.
From January 4 (Thur), 2024 (Except for Saturdays and Sundays, holidays, New Year’s holidays)
In addition to having it issued at the counters of ward offices (Ward Promotion Division / Ward Municipal Services Division), Administrative Centers, Branches, Community Collaboration Centers, Fureai Community Centers, and Municipal Service Centers (with some exceptions), you can make a postalapplication or electronic application (Hamamatsu Smart Application).
