Q. When are children’s allowance payments made?
A. Please see Money Matters "When are children’s allowance payments made?".
Q. I am pregnant. Where can I receive a Maternal and Child Health Handbook (boshi techo)?
A. It depends on your area of residence. In Naka Ward, please go to the Child & Maternal Healthcare Center (boshi hoken sentā), located next to the Healthcare Center (hokenjo).
Q. I would like to enroll my child in public elementary school. Where can I get advice about this?
A. Consultations are available at the Educational Support Division of the Board of Education (kyoiku iinkai kyoiku shien-ka), located on the 7th floor of the EASTAGE Hamamatsu Building.
Q. Are there any local Brazilian schools and/or kindergartens?
A. Colégio Mundo de Alegria; EAS; Escola Alcance, and others.
Q. My spouse is abusing our child(ren). Where can I go for help?
A. Please get help at the Child-Related Consultation Office (jidō sodanjo), located on the 4th floor of the Shizuoka Prefecture Hamamatsu Government Building (sogo chosha).
Q. I am being abused by my spouse. Where can I go for help?
A. Please go to your local Social Welfare Division (shakai fukushi-ka) for help.
Q. I would like to apply for residence in municipal housing.
A. There are 4 application periods each year: May, August, November and February. *For more details, refer to the Information Bulletin Hamamatsu or consult the Housing Division (jutaku-ka), and Hamamatsu Municipal Housing Management Center.
Q. I would like to apply for residence in prefectural housing.
A. Please consult the Shizuoka Prefectural Housing Supply Public Corporation (shizuoka kenritsu jutaku kyokyu kosha) located on the 9th floor of the Shizuoka Prefecture Hamamatsu Government Building (sogo chosha).
