Hamamatsu City Will Issue Vouchers for the 2026 Hamamatsu City National Health Insurance Specific Health Examinations
〈 令和8年度浜松市国保特定健康診査など受診券の発送 〉
Vouchers for specific health checkups and cancer screening for people enrolled in Hamamatsu City National Health Insurance aged 40 or older or enrolled in Advanced-Age Senior Citizen Medical Insurance were mailed in late March.
Take advantage of this opportunity to receive a health checkup.

Partial Subsidy for Pneumococcal Vaccinations for the Elderly
〈 高齢者用肺炎球菌ワクチン定期予防接種費用の一部助成 〉
- Eligibility:
-
- Those aged 65 on the day of vaccination(Vaccination coupons will be issued to those eligible).
- Individuals aged 60 to 64 on the day of vaccination who have a severe disability affecting their heart, kidney, respiratory system, or immune function, which can be proved by their Physical Disability Handbook.
- Application:
- Please make a reservation directly with an eligible medical facility
- Cost:
- Copayment: Please check the city website
People in households receiving public assistance: Free vaccination tickets will be mailed out
People in households where all members are exempt from municipal resident tax: Free of charge by either 1. or 2. below
- Present documentation at the medical institution proving that all members of your household are exempt from municipal tax
- Apply in advance at one of the Health Promotion Centers and present the free vaccination voucher issued there to the medical institution
※No reimbursements can be issued after vaccination
- What to bring when you get vaccinated:
- For 1: Vaccination coupon and an identification document (MyNumber card, etc.)
For 2: A document that confirms the degree of disability (e.g., physical disability handbook) or identification document (e.g., MyNumber card)
※The vaccine used for routine immunizations has been changed. Starting April 1 (Wed), we will be using the 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine (Prevenar 20(R))
- Those not eligible for the vaccine:
- Individuals who have previously received a publicly funded pneumococcal vaccine for the elderly

- Eligibility:
- Persons who are registered as residents of Hamamatsu City as of January 1, 2026, and who fall into one of the following categories:
- Persons aged 65 or older who were born on or before December 31, 1960
- Persons exempt from resident tax for the 2025 fiscal year (excluding those living in the same household as a person who was taxed, that person’s dependents, etc.)

Please Cooperate with the Survey on the Current Status of the Elderly in the Community
〈 地域高齢者実態調査にご協力をお願いします 〉
We will conduct a survey targeting elderly individuals living alone who have recently turned 80.
Community welfare committee members (carrying identification) will visit the homes of subject individuals to inquire about their living conditions, health, and emergency contact information, in order to provide local support and assistance in case of an emergency.

- Eligibility:
- Elderly individuals living alone or members of households consisting solely of elderly individuals who, during the one-year period ending in January 2026, fall into any of the following categories:
- Those who have turned 80
- Those aged 80 or older whose household status has changed
- Those who have turned 65
- Those aged 65 to 79 whose household status has changed
※Items 3. and 4. are generally excluded from the survey, but we may conduct a survey to determine whether support is needed
