Subsidy for Cancer Patient Support Programs
〈 がん患者支援事業費補助金 〉

Subsidies are provided to reduce the financial burden on cancer patients.
Eligible expenses Conditions
Fertility Preservation Treatment Costs People who meet the requirements, including being under 43 years of age at the time of cryopreservation.
Medical prosthetic device purchase expenses People who meet the following conditions: hair loss or breast removal due to cancer treatment, purchase of a prosthetic device, etc.
In-home service usage fees, etc. People who are in the terminal stages of cancer and meet other conditions such as being under 40 years of age at the time of use.

Partial Subsidy for COVID-19 Vaccination Fees

Eligibility
  1. Citizens aged 65 or older on the day of vaccination
  2. Citizens aged 60 to 64 on the day of vaccination who have a severe disability of the heart, kidney, respiratory system, or immune function, which can be proved by their Physical Disability Handbook.
Cost Self-Pay Cost:
  • 8,000 yen (limited to one time during the program period)
People in households receiving public assistance:
  • A free vaccination ticket was mailed around the end of September
People in households where all members are exempt from municipal resident tax:
Free of charge by either 1. or 2. below
  1. Present documents at the medical institution showing all members of your household are exempt from municipal tax.
  2. Apply for a free vaccination voucher at one of the health centers (see table below) before receiving the vaccination.
    ※No refunds can be issued after vaccination.
What to Bring People in categories 1. and 2. :Proof of address and age (e.g., My Number card) and, if applicable, a free vaccination voucher.
※Services can be received without a free vaccination ticket by those paying out of pocket

Nationwide Instant Warning System (J-Alert): Nationwide Emergency Information Dissemination Drill
〈 全国瞬時警報システム(Jアラート)の全国一斉情報伝達試験 〉

A nationwide emergency information dissemination drill will be held in order to swiftly inform citizens of emergency information received by the city from the national government. The drill will be conducted using the city’s radio broadcasters (using outdoor speakers and individual receivers).
