Things to Be Careful of

Things to be careful of in the house when ill

1. Rest: They don’t have to sleep in bed to be resting.
2. Temperature: Heating so they aren’t cold, air conditioning so they aren’t too hot
3. Food: They don’t have to eat. Don’t force them to eat. Let them eat the foods they like, and easy to digest food. Make sure they stay hydrated.

Times when it is better not to have a bath

When they have a fever
When they can’t eat and don’t seem well, even if they don’t have a fever
When they are vomiting or have diarrhea and don’t seem well
When they seem to be suffering due to a nasal mucus or a cough

They can take a bath if it is just a light cold.
※But keep the bath short. In summer, wash their sweat away. In winter, keep them warm.
