 Rubbish Not to be Put Out at Your Neighborhood Collection Point

Special & dangerous rubbish

Items which fall under the Household Appliance Recycling Law (TVs, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers, air conditioners)

Either contact the store where you bought the appliances or a store that lets you trade in your old appliances, and have them take care of the appliance.

Computers

Contact a computer manufacturer and have them take care of it.

Agricultural vinyl sheets, agricultural machinery, special machinery, pianos, car parts, propane gas cylinders, motorcycles, batteries, fire extinguishers, tires, solar panels, gate doors, etc.

Contact a specialist such as a retailer that sells these items and ask them to take care of it.

Diluted agricultural chemicals, unusable oil (waste oil), agricultural chemicals, pesticides and related chemicals, gasoline, paint thinner, paint, other oils, etc.

Large quantities of waste (from moving, cleaning, mowing your lawn, gardening, etc.)

• When you are moving or doing a large clear out, you may find yourself with a lot of garbage to dispose of. When you find yourself with a lot of garbage, please bring it by yourself to the following locations:
• Contact Garbage: Call the Contact Garbage Reception Centre (Phone: 053-453-2288) before disposing of garbage.
• If you are using any disposal site other than Contact Garbage, please call the location first.
• Confirm the day and time with the location prior to disposal.
• Disposal locations may vary, depending on the type of garbage requiring disposal. Please see below for more.
• Separate the garbage to be disposed of by type and put it into Hamamatsu City Garbage Disposal Bags for Home Use. (separate bags for different types of garbage
• You can dispose of up to one Kei-Truck worth of rubbish at a time. 
• Every disposal institution will have a form "General Garbage Disposal Application "which you are required to fill out. You are required to fill in your address, name and phone number. 
• Please hire a garbage collection company (one that has permission to collect and transport general waste) if you cannot deliver it yourself. (You will be charged for this.)

Industrial waste

General waste from shops, hospitals, offices, factories, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

Arrange transport yourself or hire a garbage collection company (one that has permission to collect and transport general waste). The City only collects household rubbish.
