Q. I am having financial difficulties as my income has been reduced. Where can I get advice?

A.Please consult with your local Social Welfare Division (Shakai Fukushi Ka).

Q. Where do I file my annual income tax forms?

A.Your local tax office jurisdiction will differ according to your area of residence. In Hamamatsu there is a Western District Tax Office (Nishi Zeimusho) and an Eastern District Tax Office (Higashi Zeimusho). Visit one of these offices directly to receive the tax documents you need.

Q.I have not received my monthly salary from my employer. Where can I get advice?

A.Please visit the Hamamatsu Office of the Labor Standards Office (Hamamatsu Rōdō Kijun Kantokusho) located on the 8th floor of Gōdō Chōsha.

Q.When are child-support allowance payments made?

A. During three periods each year:
Payments for the June-August period are made on October 14.
Payments for the October-January period are made on February 14.
Payments for the February-May period are made on June 14.  *If the 14th of the month falls on a holiday, payment will be made one day earlier.
*Payment will stop if you do not file a Present Status Report (genkyō todoke) each June.
If you have not filed this report, please consult with your local Social Welfare Division (Shakai Fukushi Ka),
or if living in Naka-ku, with the Children and Families Division (Kodomo Katei Ka).
