Mayor Suzuki meets with Governor of Jakarta, Indonesia
On Thursday, 16th July, Mayor Suzuki met with Fauzi Bowo, the Governor of Jakarta, Indonesia who has decided to exhibit at Hamamatsu International Mosaiculture. Mayor Suzuki expressed his gratitude for their decision to exhibit at the Hamamatsu International Mosaiculture, as well as discussed preparations towards the exhibition. Governor Fauzi Bowo extended words of encouragement by saying “I am pleased to hear that there will be exhibits from around the world at the Hamamatsu International Mosaiculture, and together with the citizens of Jakarta city, I sincerely wish for the success of the event”. In addition, Governor Fauzi Bowo also expressed his intention to participate in the UCLG ASPAC Hamamatsu Congress. Suzuki Mayor and Governor Fauzi Bowo also exchanged opinions regarding the industries of Hamamatsu city as well as economic exchange between Japan and Indonesia.
