An Announcement from the “Salesman for Hamamatsu”
I have been taking every opportunity to become a “Salesman for Hamamatsu” and actively promote the ordinance-designated city of Hamamatsu.
Our goal is to build a vibrant and energetic city. To this end, we have been globally promoting Hamamatsu`s achievements as a “City of Manufacturing” and the city’s varied attractions, which include a wealth of tourist spots and famous products. We have also been working to raise Hamamatsu`s profile and awareness of the city, as well as making efforts to increase the number of tourists and others involved in international exchange in Hamamatsu.
In addition, we have been pro-actively inviting Japanese and also foreign, notably Asian, companies to Hamamatsu, as well as inviting national and international events and conventions to our city.
